Julia Shin
My name is Julia Shin, and I’m a new intern here at Donarski Center for Mental Health Counseling. I’m currently a student pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Andrews University.
From my time here, I hope to gather more insight and gain more experience working with the different populations that I can encounter. My areas of interests are working with young children and individuals coming from multicultural backgrounds, but I’m open to working with people of all age groups coming in for various reasons.
My therapeutic approach is generally person-centered, with CBT techniques, as I believe in having the client be the main character in the therapeutic space and I am there to support my clients. I look forward to be able to work with you!
